Torbjörn Egerhag Hands Over the Reins to Bengt Rimark as New CEO

After 23 years as CEO of K.D. Feddersen Plastics Machinery, Torbjörn Egerhag is handing over the reins to Bengt Rimark. Bengt is leaving his most recent role as CEO of Pinewood to return to an industry close to his heart. Pinewood is a company known for its innovative solutions in outdoor clothing and equipment.

Reflecting on his tenure, Torbjörn shared, "It has been a fantastic journey leading K.D. Feddersen Plastics Machinery over these years. I am immensely proud of the expansion we have achieved and the steps we have taken towards becoming a comprehensive supplier in the plastics industry, focusing on knowledge and high technology to offer our customers the best solutions and brands in each area. I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Volker Scheel, Managing Director of K.D. Feddersen Holding GmbH and the entire team in Hamburg for their unwavering support and collaboration over the years."

Under Torbjörn's leadership, the company has undergone significant changes and growth. He has been a driving force behind the expansion of the company's operations in the Nordics and Baltics. Torbjörn has also been instrumental in broadening the company's product portfolio, making it a complete supplier of technical raw materials, machinery, and recycling technology for the plastics industry. His commitment to education has left a strong mark on the company, which is now a leader in training within plastic construction and production.

Torbjörn will remain within the Nordic division of the group as Chairman of the K.D. Feddersen Nordic Holding Board, continuing to contribute his knowledge and commitment to a long-term and sustainable local plastics industry.

Welcoming Bengt Rimark as the New CEO
Bengt Rimark, who takes over as CEO, has extensive experience in the Nordic plastics industry, including his previous role as CEO of Rapid Granulator. During his time at Rapid Granulator, he led the company through significant growth and innovation, particularly in recycling and circular solutions. "His deep understanding of market needs and his ability to drive technological development will be invaluable assets for K.D. Feddersen Plastics Machinery," says Torbjörn Egerhag.

"I look forward to returning to the plastics industry and leading K.D. Feddersen Plastics Machinery into the future. With my background in circular solutions, I am confident we can continue to grow and offer our customers the best solutions on the market. I am also excited to further develop K.D. Feddersen together with our skilled team and build on the strong foundation that already exists. Additionally, I am eager to represent top brands within the plastics and recycling industries," says Bengt Rimark.

K.D. Feddersen Plastics Machinery is now enhancing its focus on equipment and machinery for the recycling industry through strong partnerships and distribution agreements. Bengt's leadership will strengthen this effort. With his experience and commitment to sustainability and quality, we look forward to further developing our comprehensive solutions for the plastics industry.

Bengt Rimark will, from April 1, 2025, lead K.D. Feddersen Plastics Machinery in the four Nordic countries: K.D. Feddersen Plastics Machinery ApS, K.D. Feddersen Plastics Machinery AB, K.D. Feddersen Plastics Machinery AS, and K.D. Feddersen Plastics Machinery OY.

New Role for Per Skjevik
As of January 1, 2025, Per Skjevik has taken on a new role as Group Business Director in K.D. Feddersen Norden Holding AB and joined the Nordic Holding Board of Directors. Per will focus on new markets, business opportunities, and optimizing business exchange between our companies. Per will hand over the Managing Director position of K.D. Feddersen Plastics Machinery AS in Norway to Bengt Rimark, after 5 years with extensive growth.

In 2017Per Skjevik founded Protec Scandinavia in Norway & Sweden, which was acquired by K.D. Feddersen in two steps, 2020 and 2023. This acquisition introduced recycling machinery as a new business area to the Feddersen group, as well as opened the Norwegian market for technical polymers.

“It’s been a challenging but great journey since I took over the Managing Director position and became a sole shareholder of the Protec companies in 2019. Feddersen have really filled the blank spots, and together we have become a very strong player in the Nordic market” says Per Skjevik
