Do you want to lead a business area with full P&L responsibility, market leading brands, and clear impact on profitable, resource efficient plastics production? We are looking for a Business Area Manager for Automation & Auxiliary who combines strategic leadership with hands on sales — and thrives as an ambassador for the plastics industry and a value creator for our customers. The role also includes operational ownership of a defined segment within our machinery sales.
About the role
As Business Area Manager, you own the business area’s P&L, strategy, and day‑to‑day delivery. You lead teams and resources, build close relationships with customers and principals/suppliers, and drive deals from idea to contract and execution. You represent market‑leading brands in automation and peripheral equipment and ensure our solutions deliver measurable customer value and profitability. The role is commercial and hands‑on: you meet customers, negotiate, and prioritize initiatives that move the needle — while actively contributing to the company’s management team.

Your responsibilities
Own the business area P&L and drive profitable growth.
Lead your own sales and develop long‑term customer relationships.
Develop and execute the business plan.
People leadership: goal setting, follow‑up, and competence development.
Develop agency/supplier partnerships and commercial agreements for market‑leading brands.
Plan and execute marketing activities together with sales and marketing.
Manage capital and inventory, as well as credit assessments and financing solutions.
Operational ownership of a defined segment within machinery sales..

Who you are – experience and competencies
University degree in engineering/sales/marketing or equivalent experience.
Proven B2B sales and leadership experience, preferably in machinery/automation/industrial sales.
Experience with P&L and KPI management, and strong negotiation skills.
Meriting: experience with international principals/suppliers and distribution businesses.
Fluent in Swedish (or another Nordic language) and good English; Category B driving license
