K.D. Feddersen Plastics Machinery AS has expanded its partnership with Sumitomo Demag, becoming the new distributor in Norway. This strategic move enhances their service offerings in the Scandinavian plastics industry, particularly in injection moulding, recycling, and extrusion.
K.D. Feddersen Plastics Machinery AS is a machine, equipment, services and technical polymer supplier to the Scandinavian plastics industry. Established in 2017. We are primarily active in recycling, extrusion, blow moulding, film blowing, rotational moulding and injection moulding. In our portfolio there are only well-known leading European manufacturers of machines and equipment such as Erema, Lindner Washtech, Weima, Bianna, Pellenc ST, Buhler Sortex, Piovan, Thermal Care, Krauss Maffei Extrusion, CMG Granulators, MB Conveyors, Inoex, AZO and Sumitomo Demag. The K.D Feddersen Plastics Machinery companies have their bases in Trondheim, Värnamo, Helsingfors and Vejle. The Norwegian company has been part of the German Feddersen group since July 2020, with a total team of 35 people in the Nordics, and 1,100 employees worldwide. The group has a turnover of just over 960 million Euros.
Sumitomo Demag strengthens collaboration with K.D. Feddersen K.D. Feddersen Plastics Machinery in Värnamo and Helsinki, has for many years successfully represented sales and service for the German injection moulding supplier Sumitomo Demag, in the Swedish, Finnish and Baltic markets. As a natural part of the merger with the other Feddersen companies in the Nordics, from 4 October 2024, K.D. Feddersen Plastics Machinery AS starts, sales service and support for Sumitomo Demag in Norway. "We are happy to take on the representation of the market leader for all-electric injection moulding machines in Norway as well. We now cover all of Scandinavia and the Baltics," says CEO Per Skjevik. "During a four-year period, we have focused on recycling and extrusion but are now also investing in the injection moulding sector in Norway. We already have a new sales manager in the team, and an excellent solution for service and support," continues Skjevik.
