K.D. Feddersen Expands Presence in Denmark and Strengthens the Scandinavian Market

K.D. Feddersen is expanding its presence in Denmark by representing Sumitomo (SHI) Demag, thereby strengthening the company’s position in Scandinavia. With a new office in Vejle and centralized administration in Sweden, the company is ready to offer high-quality service and support to its Danish customers.

K.D. Feddersen Plastic Machinery is pleased to announce the expansion of its collaboration with Sumitomo (SHI) Demag, a world leader in fully electric injection molding machines. Starting from October 11, 2024, K.D. Feddersen will extend its representation to include Denmark, in addition to the existing markets in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania.

“We are delighted to take on the representation of Sumitomo (SHI) Demag in Denmark, further strengthening our presence in Scandinavia and the Baltics,” says Torbjörn Egerhag, Managing Director of K.D. Feddersen Plastics Machinery. “This expansion allows us to offer our Danish customers injection molding machines, making us a comprehensive supplier of all equipment for the plastics industry.

K.D. Feddersen will manage sales and service activities in Denmark from a new office in Vejle, which will open soon. “To ensure maximum efficiency, we have centralized all administration for spare parts sales in the Nordic region to our office in Sweden,” added Torbjörn. The Nordic team currently consists of seven service technicians, two service coordinators, and five sales representatives. Soon, the team will be further expanded with local staff in Vejle.

K.D. Feddersen Plastic Machinery has been operating in Denmark since 2007, initially focusing on technical polymers. The company established its Danish subsidiary in 2023 and has since expanded its offerings to include machinery, and equipment for the plastics processing and recycling industries. K.D. Feddersen has a long history of representing established manufacturers in these segments.
